This blog is about things that make me happy.

I’m happy when my baby finger is dipping into a pot of sauce.

I’m happy when I have a glass of wine in hand. Or a gin and dry lemon.

I’m happy when I pop a bright broad bean out of its shell.

I’m happy when I make mayonnaise. It’s like magic.

I’m happy when I travel, airports are my best.

I’m happy when I watch a good film; or hear a song that moves me.

Happiness is an interesting conversation that I think about for days.

Happiness is tired feet and dirty aprons and knowing you made the best meal ever.

So; this blog is mostly about eating, and the adventures that go on in my kitchen.
